Light-hearted versions of the best holiday songs, played by a top-notch band of Alabama artists
From a hot jazz jam session on “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” to a soaring flute rendition of “O Holy Night”, from a sly vocal take on “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” to twin mandolins on "Deck the Halls", this could be your favorite holiday music of the year!
Award-winning entertainer Sam Pointer leads the way on vocals, acoustic guitar, bouzouki, banjo and mandolin. Sam has performed and/or recorded with New Potato Caboose, Black Jacket Symphony, Grammy winners The Temptations, Emmy winner Christopher Hedge, Rollin’ in the Hay, and many more. The band also includes Jason Bailey on mandolin, Roy Yarbrough on upright bass (an Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame member) and Sallie White on flute.
